Mr Hammond wrote ..... This was our 4th visit to this superb friendly site. The fishing is brilliant, I had two 11lb plus carp, and over twenty 6lb or above. The people are friendly. The site is well looked after, quiet, peaceful, and tidy. If you want to play bingo, get drunk, and put money in fruit machines then this isn't the place for you but if you like to fish and you want peace and quiet in a friendly way, then this is the place.
The Love family wrote ..... This is a beautiful little site of 36 pitches for parents with older children. There is a large fishing lake on site which is packed full of fish, so budding fishermen (or women) will easily get the bug! Day permits available on site. Dogs are welcome and there is also a non pet area of the site. Lovely proprietors, very approachable and always around for a chat.
Mr & Mrs Hewing wrote ..... Just enjoyed a fabulous 3 night stay at Honeypots near eye, lovely setting with fishing lake and viewing lake. The grounds are well maintained with small wildflower walk. The plots are generous and the warden and partner could not have been more welcoming, lending our friends a kettle and frying pan. Small but clean showers and toilets, 2 ladies and 2 mens of each. Lake very well stocked. Everyone on site quiet and respectful of other campers. A real pleasure.
Dave & Hilda wrote ..... We had a great time on the site and as usual the wardens were more than friendly and extremely helpful. Spent the week fishing and the wife and I caught over 1,380lbs of fish, the best being 11 and half and 2 at 11 and quarter pounds (the other halfs first double figure fish). All in all a great time, but don't forget to book fishing when you book your pitch, each pitch is large and you are not crowded together like some places.
